Kareena Kapoor born on September 21st, 1980 in Mumbai is an amazing Bollywood actress, whose mere magnetic presence in the movie takes the film to its box office success. Kareena finished her high school studies at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later at Welham Boarding School in Dehradun. Kareena studied commerce at Mithibai College in Mumbai. She later joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's Acting School to polish her innate acting talents.

Kareena Kapoor's performance in "Chameli" {2003} as a sexworker found comparisons with those of legendary actresses Nargis, Meena Kumari and Shabana Azmi. It's no mean achievement to be compared to these iconic actresses indeed. Kareena Kapoor received Filmfare's Special Performance Award for "Chameli". Her performances in Govind Nihalani's "Dev" {2004} and Vishal Bharadwaj's "Omkara" {2006} too won her high praises in the press.
